ABOUT AMANDA

Amanda was born in Boston and raised in the Bay Area and rural Northern California. She graduated with a Russian degree from the University of California, Irvine, and an MBA in Finance from Argosy University in Chicago. She has been in the insurance industry since 2012 and holds the Certified Personal Risk Manager designation (CPRM®) from The National Alliance, and the Personal Lines Insurance Certification (PLIC) from the Insurance Community University. She specializes in a full suite of coverages, including primary and secondary residences, collections, automobiles (including collector cars), watercraft, recreational vehicles, and personal excess liability. She is also experienced in specialty coverages, such as Directors and Officers Liability, Employment Practices Liability, Construction/Renovation, and Short-Term Rental Dwellings.

Amanda resides on a small homestead in Duvall, Washington, outside of Seattle with her husband and two dogs, Freya and Loki, and three cats, Kolya, Yulia, and Yelena. Their son Joshua is partnered to a lovely lady and is a new father. A published novelist, Amanda founded Writer Zen Garden, a non-profit that helps writers at all stages of their careers. She is an accomplished public speaker and member of Toastmasters International, holding club officer positions and serving as a mentor to other members. She is an avid textile artist and calligrapher and enjoys hiking with her husband in the Pacific Northwest. She also serves as a member of the Duvall Chamber of Commerce and volunteers with the Good Neighbor Association, a local food rescue that donates over 500 tons of food a year to people in need.
